About Roz
Roz is AI-powered staff rostering software for small-to-medium Australian businesses — cafes, clinics, retail, multi-site operators, and production teams. It builds, checks, and publishes rosters, and messages staff on WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. When someone calls in sick, Roz rebuilds the affected shifts and proposes rule-compliant swaps, so a manager isn't rebuilding the week by hand.
From SmartRoster to Roz
SmartRoster became Roz in 2026 — same product, same team, new name. We named the product after Roz, the AI at its centre. Accounts, pricing, and the app itself did not change.
Who we build for
- Cafes — openers, closers, weekend peaks, consecutive-day caps.
- Clinics, including vet clinics — qualifications, certifications, fatigue caps, fast sick-cover.
- Retail — peak cover, skill mix, weekend crews.
- Multi-site operators — cross-site balancing and minimum-cover guards.
- Production and media teams — deliverable-aware scheduling for newsrooms and studios.
How Roz works
You give Roz the shifts you need covered and your constraints. It drafts a roster and checks it against a deterministic rules engine — rest hours, qualifications, availability blackouts — and flags coverage gaps before they happen. You review and publish; nothing reaches staff without your sign-off.
The company
Roz is a product of StitchAI Pty Ltd, a company registered in New South Wales, Australia.
