Your shifts in Apple Calendar
You can add your shifts to the Calendar app on your iPhone. This keeps your published shifts next to the rest of your life, without opening Roz.
How to subscribe
- Open the Roz app.
- Go to Me → Calendar.
- Tap Subscribe in Calendar.
This adds a calendar named ”
What shows in the calendar
- Your published, accepted shifts.
- Your approved leave — annual leave and days off (RDOs) show with their type. Sick leave and compassionate leave show only as “Leave”, to keep the reason private.
- The calendar covers the past 60 days and the next 120 days.
What does not show
- Offered shifts you have not accepted.
- Shifts on a day you have approved full-day leave for.
How fast it updates
Changes can take up to a day to appear in Calendar. Your iPhone decides when to check for updates, not Roz.
The Roz app itself always shows your latest roster. If you need the current picture right now, check the app, not Calendar.
If you work for two businesses
Switch business in the app and repeat Me → Calendar → Subscribe in Calendar for each one. Each business gets its own calendar, named after that business.
Removing or resetting your calendar
Use Reset calendar link in Me → Calendar if you want to stop the old calendar updating — for example, before you subscribe again. The old calendar stops updating and shows one event: “Roz: this calendar is no longer updated.”
To remove it from your iPhone:
- Open the Calendar app.
- Go to Calendars.
- Tap the info button next to the Roz calendar.
- Tap Unsubscribe.
”My calendar is out of date”
The Roz app is always correct — Calendar is a copy that updates on its own schedule. If Calendar looks stale:
- Check the Roz app first. If it shows the right shifts, the calendar just hasn’t refreshed yet.
- To force a refresh, remove the calendar (see above) and subscribe again from Me → Calendar.
There is no web or Google Calendar version
This feature works through your iPhone’s Calendar app only. There is no web link and no direct Google Calendar option today.
