Managing sites
A site is a place you roster for — a café, a clinic, a store, a venue. Each site has its own hours and the timeslots its shifts run in.
Adding a site
Open the Sites tab and choose Add site. Set:
- Name — how you’ll recognise it.
- Opening hours — when the site operates, per day. Roz uses this to know when shifts can run and to spot coverage gaps.
- Timeslots — the blocks of the day you think in (e.g. morning / afternoon / close), used for coverage targets.
Why opening hours matter
Opening hours define the canvas a roster is drawn on. If a site is closed Sundays, Roz won’t expect coverage then; if it opens at 6am, an early gap will show until someone’s on.
Multiple sites
Most businesses roster more than one location. Each site is independent — its own hours, its own coverage — but you can roster across them and Roz can reason about all of them (“Who can cover the second store on Friday?”).
Tip
Get opening hours right early. Coverage gaps and targets all flow from them, so a wrong closing time shows up as confusing warnings across every draft.
