Rosters
Working with drafts
A draft is a roster that hasn’t been shared with your team yet. It’s your safe workspace — change anything, try options, and nothing reaches staff until you publish.
Drafts vs published rosters
- Draft — editable, private to you and your managers, no one is notified.
- Published — the live schedule your team sees. You can still edit it, but changes are visible and staff can be notified.
See Publishing a roster for how the switch works.
Managing your drafts
The Rosters tab lists your drafts with their site and date range. From here you can:
- Open a draft to keep editing it.
- Duplicate a draft to reuse last week’s shape as a starting point.
- Discard a draft you no longer need.
Multiple drafts
You can have several drafts on the go — for example, one per site, or this week and next. Give them clear date ranges so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Tip
Building a similar roster every week? Duplicate an existing draft instead of starting from scratch, then adjust. Roz can help reshuffle it for the new week — see Editing with Roz.
