Rosters

Publishing a roster

Publishing turns a draft into the live schedule your team can see. Until you publish, a roster is private to you and your managers.

Before you publish

Run through the quick checklist:

Roz can sanity-check a draft for you before you commit — just ask.

How to publish

Open the draft and choose Publish. The roster becomes the published version for that site and date range.

Can I edit after publishing?

Yes. Editing a published roster is normal and expected — plans change. Open the published roster and make your change; it updates the live schedule. Significant changes are worth letting staff know about.

Seeing what changed

Every version of a roster is kept, so you can see how it evolved and who changed what. See Roster history.

Tip

If you publish and then realise you need a bigger rework, you can keep editing in place — you don’t have to “unpublish”. Make the changes and they take effect immediately.
