Rosters

Editing with Roz

Roz is your roster assistant. Instead of placing every shift by hand, you can describe what you want and Roz proposes the changes for you to approve.

Opening the AI editor

From a draft, choose Edit with Roz. You get the roster grid alongside a chat with Roz, so you can see proposed changes land on the schedule in real time.

What to ask

Roz understands your staff, sites, and rules, so you can be specific:

How proposals work

Roz proposes; you decide. It shows the changes it wants to make, and you apply them (or not). Nothing changes the draft until you accept it, and nothing reaches your team until you publish.

This is deliberate — you stay in control of the final schedule, and Roz handles the fiddly rearranging.

Roz respects your rules

When Roz proposes a roster it works within your scheduling rules — rest windows, hour caps, and availability. If you ask for something that would break a rule, Roz will tell you rather than quietly do it.

Plain questions, too

You don’t have to be editing to ask Roz things. See Asking Roz anything.
